Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 8:03PM You know why? Because Twhirl is so last month!
I actually think that Twitter has "jumped the shark" as it has caught on with the general public. Also it has gotten too ridiculous after the arrival of celebs.
Having said that, the Twitter website is still god-awful. Tweetie is visually pleasant to use and it appears to behave better than Twhirl as well which as been my desktop client for a while.
Give Tweetie a try.

I collect guitars and "attempt" to play as well as I could. More often than not, I hear a guitar riff and wish I could learn the lick on my own as many transcriptions are wrong or doesn't exist. There have been some tools that help do this by slowing down the song while offering pitch/speed control.
Capo is another product that falls in this category but it is awesome in that it is just damn simple to use. The user interface is very clean and looks great as a native Mac application. The introductory price of $39 is a bit high to me but I bought it nonetheless and love it. Try it!

Friday, May 1, 2009 at 10:20AM Today's pick is Panda's new cloud-computing based anti-virus product. It's lightweight and appears like a solid option for a home use free anti-virus. Try it.
